The buzz bass or drone bass

The two bordun-strings, freely plucked sound with longlasting, clear and rich bass primary tones, tuning c-sharp 2 and g-sharp.

The somewhat softer sounding, and with the lever tunable string intices to a bear-like drone. You can achieve drive by using a stick or a “cantible” and such by using a bow.

You can expand on the play possibilities in the direction of Contrabass.For a receptive application you can lean the bass at an angle against a wall.

One person can sit with their back against the back of the bass, while the sounds are produced by another person.

This bass won the first price in an international contest for new musical instruments in the field of music therapy at the “world federation for musictherapy” in Hamburg in 1996
